What Was the July 31 QuickBooks Deadline?

Question: What was the July 31, 2024 deadline from QuickBooks all about?

Answer: Intuit/QuickBooks set July 31, 2024 as the last day that QB Desktop (Pro and Premier) could be purchased by a new customer or a current customer with a non-supported QB product.

The good news is that the July 31 deadline has been extended to September 30, 2024. So, if you are in an older version of QB Desktop, and you want to purchase the subscription version, you have until September 30 to do that. After that, you cannot.

If you are already in a subscription version of Desktop, you will be able to renew that product annually as usual.
