Have you ever gone to a baseball game or other sporting event, received your promotional product at the gate and thought that you had a better idea for a design?
If so, you’re probably not alone, and the St. Louis Cardinals would like a word with you.
The Cardinals are launching a program this year to allow fans to vote on a T-shirt design every month, and the team will hand out shirts with the winning design at the end of the month.
The polling process for April’s T-shirt has already started, and ends April 3. The winning shirt will be given out on April 24.
Voting for the April T-Shirt of the Month is now OPEN! Both t-shirt options were designed by former Cardinal, Bob Tewksbury!

This is a great idea by the Cardinals, it not only advertises the promotional products given out at Busch Stadium, it gives fans direct involvement in the process. And by doing so, it directly incentivizes fans to come to the stadium.
Think about it, if you really loved one of the designs enough to vote for it, wouldn’t you want the T-shirt yourself? If you’re local to the St. Louis area, chances are you’d snag some tickets to get the shirt yourself.
We’ve spent a lot of time discussing the best and most original baseball promotional from around the league and throughout the years, and this is a great idea for the Cardinals.
