Spain’s Breakout Talent (New York Times)

On first meeting, Josep Font does not seem the sort of designer who would be especially fond of lace-trimmed collars and velvet bows.

He favors a street aesthetic for his everyday attire—sneakers, baggy jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. He rarely smiles. On the runway, the dark, rough-shaven Spaniard might be expected to produce an underground look, or something at least a bit naughty.
