If we could include emojis in our articles, this one would start with a giant face palm. We want to understand Jared Leto. We want to give him the benefit of the doubt. But when we saw his band’s new merchandise, we concluded we must be living on two different planets.
Leto’s band 30 Seconds to Mars has been touring the world in support of their “America” album, but it’s the merchandise that has caught our attention.
Leto has been sporting a lot of the looks himself, and we’ve got to say he’s not exactly pulling it off. Most recently he was spotting wearing a pink hoodie that listed the richest fashion models and their annual earnings. What does this have to do with his band? And What point is Leto is trying to make with this sweatshirt? Models are paid too much? Models run the world? Leto has struck out with all these models, and he’s upset he missed out on these income opportunities? The questions are endless, and the price point is even more ridiculous. If you want to add this sweatshirt to your wardrobe, it will set you back $75.
