After over a year of careful planning, organizing and building, Bel Promo has now moved into their brand new, custom-built facility that will house their old three-building layout all under one roof. The modern 350,000 square foot facility was specifically designed to not only fit the current needs of the organization, but its future growth plans as well. The state-of-the-art keyless access control technology at the front door will lead you into the large furnished lobby. From there, you will enter the organized call center that boasts automatic motion lighting and 14′ high ceilings where the company’s customer service team anxiously awaits your call. The spacious art department follows closely, where Bel Promo’s expert graphic design teams work diligently on vector art, free paper proofs and virtual imaging.
“The new facility was built to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of each stage to the order process. From receiving your call, email or fax, to pulling inventory and then to production, each step was meticulously scrutinized to insure the best possible order flow and management,” said Alan Tabasky, vice president. “The production areas were carefully laid out, with designated printing areas, spacious pathways, and a new organization system that allows orders to flow smoothly. Each area of the warehouse shows extreme attention to detail, truly creating a space to be proud of.”
“Operating out of three separate buildings posed a challenge to inventory management and order staging. Now operating out of one large central facility, order management, picking and staging will improve immensely,” Tabasky added.
Although the streamlined production, order processing and inventory control is very impressive in itself, Bel Promo feels that without their employees, it would all be impossible. The new facility has a custom break-room for their employees, complete with kitchen area and catered food. After work, staff members are encouraged to use the new, fully equipped employee gym. “We are all very excited about the gym.
