Jonah Hill made quite an impact in 2018. He released “Mid90s,” his indie movie about skateboarding and youth, to high critical praise, and then he created a T-shirt in conjunction with the film that was applauded for its design. The original T-shirt was a long-sleeve white crewneck with A24 written out in skateboards on the front. The cast and production details were on the back. It was a clever nod to the film’s narrative, and the perfect way to promote the film. The T-shirt sold out in a matter of hours.
The T-shirt release went down in October, and we’ve been wondering if that would be the last we heard from Hill relating to the movie. It turns out the actor-turned-director-turned-merchandiser has at least one more T-shirt release up his sleeve. To celebrate the release of “Mid90s” on digital, Hill is releasing a new T-shirt for 24 hours only.

The shirt also comes with exclusive stickers.
Hill’s T-shirt release is in partnership with Illegal Civilization, a skateboarding crew based out of Hollywood. The yellow long-sleeve is retailing for $35, and we have no doubt it will be a hot-seller.
Film merchandise is expected to gain a ton of momentum in 2019, and we think Hill is definitely leading the movement. His clever use of graphics, fonts and references makes these items hot commodities worthy of collection, and that’s definitely essential for must-have movie merchandise.
