Pantone might have named Living Coral its Color of the Year, but it seems Disney is banking big on another hue: Potion Purple.
According to WDW News Today, Disneyland has ordered a huge supply of Potion Purple goods for its Downtown Disney store. According to the website, the purple section of the store had the most shoppers, and even obtaining a photo was difficult.

The theme park hosted a Potion Purple Premiere Pop-Up Event in Tomorrowland to preview the merchandise, which includes Minnie Mouse ears, T-shirts, backpacks and more.
Several pieces in the collection also feature sequins, which begs the question: Are sequins back in style? Disney might not be a fashion house, but the Mouse House has been known to be a champion of promotional merchandise and is usually well ahead of the trends curve.
We say, take Disney’s lead and bet big on these purple shades for your next promotional line. The eye-catching color ensures your client’s branding will garner attention, and if you really want to get fancy, add in some sequins.
