Now that the first weekend of the ever-popular Coachella music festival has ended, our Instagram feeds can go back to regular posts. If you were too busy checking out all of the cool Insta pics popping up on your feed, then you probably missed the news that Ariana Grande debuted a limited-edition, eight-piece, NASA-themed Coachella merch collection. It includes pieces like T-shirts, sweatshirts and a pair of glasses, and fans of Grande’s newest album will be happy to hear it features elements from her song “NASA” throughout.
Grande has released a few merch collections over the past couple of months. Some, like her fun Valentine’s Day collection, were good. Others, like her recent tour T-shirts, were not so great.
This collection is definitely on the good side, mostly due to some fun design elements. Almost all of the items borrow the space agency’s iconic font, and some use its actual logo. The white “one giant leap crewneck” features the quotes “This Is One Small Step For Woman” on the front and “One Giant Leap For Woman-Kind” on the back, which are the opening lyrics from the song. The crewneck also highlights Grande’s name, along with “Performing Live at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” while the reverse side features “NASA” branding.
The last piece that really stood out in this collection was the “I’ma need space T-shirt,” which is a fun play on both the NASA theme and the lyrics from the song. The shirt also included a line commemorating Grande’s status as the youngest headliner in Coachella history.
In addition to the shirts and glasses, there’s also a mask. Grande previously released two masks for the holidays, but here, it was a practical addition. If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Coachella, it’s that it can get dusty, and the NASA mask was a great idea to shield fans.
While the collection was initially released at the festival, the pieces can also be found on her website. Plus, fans have already expressed their approval for this “Arichella” NASA merch, as it’s being called.
One Twitter user went to the extreme and wrote, “I would sell my left foot to get #Arichella merch.”

The collection was a hit. It’s too bad NASA won’t make any money off it.
