In order to increase awareness and buyer education on the power of outdoor promotions, Quinn Flags, Hanover, Pa.,, is celebrating its 25th year with the creation of “Outdoor Marketing Month” in June. An Outdoor Marketing Day will be celebrated on June 13th.
“Sometimes our distributors and sales counselors are labeled as ‘my shirt vendor,”’ or ‘my mug person,’ and usually about indoor marketing products,” explained Matt Quinn, CEO of Quinn Flags, in a press release. “We want to help our sales pro customers expand their offerings and sales to their clients by providing them a month they can dedicate to the lucrative outdoor branded market. Let’s showcase what else they can do by providing them with free promotional tools to tell their story to gain more of that share of the business.”
Quinn’s marketing team has set up an educational website about the outdoor market written for end-users, but referring them to “O Pros,” or “Outdoor Marketing” professionals in their area.
“We are putting our money where our mouth is,” said Bruce Kolbrener, Quinn’s vice president of sales. “Our commitment to our distributors is to help them be superheroes to their clients. By showcasing they cover outdoor solutions—such as flags, banners, tents, displays and other products used in outdoor settings—we will help expand their business into these areas that are ripe for great repeat business year after year.”
The website will feature fun facts, tips, hints and trends about branded outdoor products in many categories. Also on the Quinn website, for distributors, will be Outdoor Marketing Month logos and flyers promoting the different weeks of that month, along with special pricing that lasts throughout the summer. Social media posts written for end users will be included as well that distributors can cut and paste into their own social shares.
