Adidas’ AriZona Branded Shoes Look Like Iced Tea Bottles (But the Best Part Is the Price)

Along with pop-up shops, sneaker collaborations have become huge recently. We’ve previously covered other sneaker collabs, like the K-Swiss branded collection for “Clueless” and the Vans and Harry Potter collection. This time, Adidas and AriZona Iced Tea—you know, the $0.99 bottles and cans you get from your local deli—are releasing four pairs of branded sneakers, inspired by the bottle designs. And wait until you see the price!

Based on Highsnobiety’s report on the collaboration, these sneakers are everything AriZona iced tea fans could ever ask for:

Both styles, the Yung 1 and Continental, come in two AriZona Iced Tea-inspired colorways that feature the beverage brand’s iconography. Bright pinks, yellows and vivid greens make up the majority of the sneaker, with hits of black and white provided a more muted contrast.

Now, about the price we mentioned: AriZona announced that the sneakers will be available for, yep, $0.99—the same price as a 23 oz. can of Southern Style Real Brewed Sweet Tea (or whatever other AriZona flavor is your favorite). Although, there is one minor catch: They’re only available at an exclusive NYC pop-up shop on July 18 and 19, and they’re limited to one pair per guest.

We turned to social media to see what fans thought about this collab. One Twitter user tweeted about the shoes only being sold in NYC. AriZona replied to the comment mentioning a future chance to win on Facebook and Instagram for those who aren’t able to grab a pair during the pop-up shop:

Instagram user @k.denero, commented, “I’ll be there with my $1.”

We’re also really fond of this collab between Adidas and AriZona. The design elements are super cool (they even say “99 cents” on the tongue!) and the $0.99 retail price is a fun nod to one of the AriZona brand’s defining traits. Usually, in sneaker collaborations, the limited-edition shoes come with some serious price markup, but not here. For fans, that’s undoubtedly welcome news.

As of now, we’re unsure how many pairs are going to be available. But based on the price and the awesome designs, we’re sure they’ll sell out quick!
