Norwood & BIC Graphic North America, Clearwater, Fla., today announced its Red Wing facility collected 2,883 pounds of non-perishable food items to support the Red Wing Area Food Shelf. This collection is equal to 2,871 items—or about 4 pounds of food donated per employee.
As part of the fundraiser, any employee bringing three or more items to the collection could choose to participate in the First Annual Turkey Trot, lead by Tim Dunford, site manager for the Red Wing facility, and the BIC Boy.
In an address to his staff, Dunford said, “I take great pride in working with all of you. Today we dropped off the generous donations that you made to help those in need. I wish you all could have come along to experience what those of us delivering the food did. The emotions and gratitude of the volunteers working at the Food Shelf was quite something.”
