In the wake of the El Paso shooting, local T-shirt printers and other companies are creating and selling merchandise to raise funds for the victims and their families.
USA Today spotlighted some of the businesses that are donating proceeds.
1. MoCha
This “El Paso Strong” T-shirt looks to be the biggest one (you’ll see it down below a few more times). It was created by MoCha, a T-shirt printer based in El Paso. Other printers, such as Proper Printshop, have picked up the design and are offering it through their websites as well, with proceeds going to the El Paso Community Foundation. Proper Printshop says it’s had almost 1,000 orders in 48 hours
2. MT Needles Embroidery

Featuring a graphic of Texas with the #ElPasoStrong hashtag, these T-shirts will see a portion of proceeds go to the El Paso Police Department’s official victims fund.
3. Wood + Mor

This online gift shop produced two different shirts, and 100 percent of the profits will go to the families affected. They are taking orders through their Facebook account.
4. Churo Relic

This company is no longer taking preorders for the T-shirts, but they will be available Aug. 9 in the estore. Proceeds will be donated to the El Paso Shooting Victims’ Fund.
5. Jayva Print House

This company is taking orders through email, but anyone who wants a shirt can also bring in a personal T-shirt, and they will print on it for a $10 donation.
It’s meaningful to see small businesses unite in the face of tragedy, and it’s especially nice to see screen printers step up and make an impact in times of crisis. If there are any other companies producing merchandise to benefit the victims and their families, please let us know in the comments section so we can highlight them.
