Americo Manufacturing, Acworth, Ga., this week announced the company has purchased the assets of Custom Textile Printing, based in Dalton, Ga. Custom Textile Printing is a manufacturer of custom-designed logo mats for the promotional products industry. The assets will be relocated to Americo Manufacturing’s new 152,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, manufacturing facility located in Cartersville, Ga.
The deal marks the third such floor mat acquisition for Americo Manufacturing within the past five years. Terms of the Custom Textile Printing deal were not disclosed at the time of print.
Americo Manufacturing has been a leading producer of entrance and anti-fatigue mats for over 35 years, and is one of the largest manufacturers of industrial and promotional floor matting products in the United States. “With this acquisition, we are able to expand our current product offering and streamline key manufacturing processes,” said David Rones, president of Americo’s PromoMatting division.
“We will continue to grow, both organically and through acquisition, as we capitalize on our competitive advantage of being vertically integrated,” Rones added.
Americo Manfacturing, which manufactures and imprints matting under one roof, is a diversified, family-owned company operating separate factories which service the nonwovens and floor matting industries. The company’s products are sold in all 50 states and over 70 countries worldwide. This is Americo’s 43rd year of operation under its second generation leadership team.
