AIA Corporation (AIA), Appleton, Wis., announced results for its 2019 third quarter, reporting gross booked sales of $52 million, which is a 20.8 percent increase from the same quarter last year. Total gross booked sales for the year are $144 million, a 30 percent increase from the previous year.
“In recent years, AIA has prioritized working smarter to accomplish more by investing in best-in-class business intelligence tools, a technology platform that streamlines order entry and management, an Owner Success team to provide business and sales coaching, and robust marketing support and capabilities,” said Matt Gresge, CEO of AIA Corporation. “Now, these investments are moving AIA and our business owners ahead of the industry. And we’re not stopping. This year, we’ve launched a new sales training program and hosted our inaugural Supplier Summit event, all of which will continue in 2020 and beyond.”
According to Gresge, AIA is on track to exceed its 2019 revenue goal of $210 million. This would mark the company’s third consecutive year exceeding its gross sales goal and setting a new sales record.
Additionally, AIA business owner sales growth is strong. Nearly half of all AIA business owners have experienced positive growth in 2019, while 82 distributors have grown sales by 10 percent or greater from the previous year. In addition, 48 AIA business owners have exceeded or will exceed $1 million in gross sales this year.
“The success we’ve achieved in 2019 reinforces our commitment to supporting the growth of our business owners,” said Gresge. “This year, 15 distributors have joined AIA, drawn by the many resources and tools we’ve built to help manage a more efficient and profitable business. Our technology is at the forefront of this, as it saves business owners time, provides an edge when it comes to better serving customers, and streamlines operations.”
Since the beginning of 2019, AIA has launched over 25 enhancements to its Experience AIA technology platform. Additional updates are released monthly, each one accompanied by training modules.
This growth is a driving force behind AIA’s decision to move its headquarters from Neenah, Wisc., to Appleton, Wis. The new 22,000 square-foot office, which AIA moved into this month, provides space for AIA’s growing team, design features to encourage collaboration among employees and AIA’s business owners, a centralized location to attract top talent, as well as modern design and amenities.
