In the wake of devastating storms in West and North Georgia, L.A. T Sportswear, Ball Ground, Ga., has made a donation to the Red Cross to support recovery efforts.
The American Red Cross relief efforts continue in tornado-ravaged Georgia, where families mourn the loss of loved ones and nearly 1,100 homes have been heavily damaged or destroyed. Local disaster action teams were among the first to shelter, feed, and comfort their devastated neighbors in the aftermath of the storms.
“We could not provide our life-saving services to these families without donations from individuals and companies like yours,” said Michael D. Brown, development officer, American Red Cross.
To date, 45,231 meals have been served and 520 clean-up and comfort kits distributed. Ten emergency response vehicles have been mobilized to provide mobile feeding and clean-up supply distribution.
