Chesapeake Promotional Products Association (CPPA), West River, Md., was thrilled to participate in the 5th annual Warm Holiday Wishes Coat Drive for St. Vincent de Paul Charity in Baltimore. On Monday, December 19, CPPA representatives dropped off almost 100 coats, hats and gloves at the Fox 45 News station in Baltimore. Each year Fox 45 News hosts the drive to support St. Vincent de Paul’s efforts to provide warm clothes for the homeless. Fox 45 News interviewed CPPA board member Megan Erber, who spearheaded the drive, about the donation.
Donations were collected at the CPPA Annual Membership Meeting and through supplier companies who donated samples and over-runs. CPPA supplier member Charles River Apparel was the largest contributor to the cause. Most of the items donated were brand new with tags still attached.
