Distributors and Suppliers Prepare for PROMOTIONS EAST, Starting Sunday

PROMOTIONS EAST 2011, June 5-8, begins in just three days and will feature industry-leading education, more giveaways than before and networking events to both engage attendees and benefit sponsoring exhibitors.

The Supplier Roundtable will launch the trade show at the Atlantic City Convention Center on June 5 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. PROMOTIONS EAST University begins June 6, and will be followed by exhibit days on June 7 and 8.

To date, the show will feature over 600 booths from more than 500 exhibiting companies. Additionally, the show floor will feature a PPAI Brand Pavilion showcasing unique industry suppliers.

PROMOTIONS EAST University includes three days of distributor-focused education, covering tracks such as: Sales, Marketing, Strategies, New Distributor, Business Management, Brand, Apparel U, and Technology. The Quality Certification Alliance (QCA) is the 2011 PROMOTIONS EAST Education Sponsor. Prominent speakers from across the industry, including distributors and suppliers from the top promotional products companies, will lead 26 unique education sessions. In total, more than 30 MAS/CAS points will be offered.

In addition to a full education schedule, the 2011 show will feature cash prizes and giveaways in which all qualified show attendees are eligible to enter.

The “Golden Ticket Giveaway” will be held during the first day of exhibits, June 7, and will provide attendees the opportunity to win $2,000. Distributor salespeople were mailed a Golden Ticket chocolate bar from Freeport, New York-based Chocolate Inn. Attendees can bring the wrapper to the show and drop it off at Promo Marketing, booth #1515, by 4:00 p.m. on June 7 for their chance to win.

New this year, show attendees are eligible win an iPad from PCG Line, booth #1914. Distributor salespeople were mailed a “Free Show Pass” and Full Color Opper Fiber iPad screen cleaner, courtesy of Clothpromotions Plus. The first 500 distributor salespeople to submit their “Free Show Pass” to PCG Line will win free Neoprene iPad Sleeves. One iPad winner will be drawn at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8.

During both exhibit days, attendees can participate in the “Walk It to Win It” contest, sponsored by Jetline. Pedometers will be provided at the entrance to the show floor. Once 1,000 steps have been completed on the show floor, attendees can turn in their contest entry forms to the Jetline booth, #603. The winner will walk away with a grand prize of $2,000.

Returning this year are the Tropical Fantasy Reception at the Rainforest Café, June 6, and the SPLASH! Party at the Pool at Harrah’s, June 7.
