Crystal D, St. Paul, Minn., honored 28 employees at its annual WOW Day meeting on January 20.
The annual WOW Day meeting is an offsite gathering designed to honor employees for various achievements. In addition, Chuck Dahlgren, president, and Mike Irvine, vice president of operations, presented their corporate vision for the next 12 months.
The five Value Champion Award winners were nominated by their peers throughout the year for exemplifying one of the five corporate core values: Integrity, Quality, Respect, Commitment and Passion. Value Champions and the Grand Value Champion can be seen in the attached photo.
The 2010 Value Champions announced were:
- Chris Doering for Integrity; Kay Larsen, honorable mention
- Keith Jackson for Respect; Nick Kenowski, honorable mention
- Paula Doll for Commitment; David Saatzer, honorable mention
- Todd Zimmerman for Quality; Angel Zook, honorable mention
- Tom Warkel for Passion; Sharon Lezer, honorable mention
In addition, the company recognized a number of other employees on their achievements. The Grand Value Champion Award winner was also recognized at WOW Day. The recipient, TeriKay Thein, received this award for exemplifying all five core values that create the foundation for Crystal D. Thein has won the Value Champion Respect Award three times in the past.
