A team of 12 Newton Manufacturing Company employees volunteered their time on Saturday, March 5 for the Friends of Iowa Public Television’s annual on-air IPTV Festival campaign.
From 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Newton Manufacturing group answered phones and took pledges for IPTV’s largest fundraising event of the year. The group could be seen during breaks from the shows “Kid Concoctions 2”, “Eat and Live Healthy with Dr. John LaLuma” and “The Experts Academy”.
The 2011 IPTV Festival runs from March 5 to 20, 2011. Newton Manufacturing Company and its employees have been long-time supporters of IPTV, helping with the Festival efforts for last 7 years.
