Brooklyn Products International Inc., Brooklyn, Mich., announced that its AmeriFoam division has purchased Quality Foam Designs, a manufacturer of polyurethane promotional products in Elkhart, Ind.
The deal has been in the works for the past several months. During the acquisition process, it became clear that the regional proximity of AmeriFoam and Quality Foam Designs and the alignment of the companies’ business practices represented an incredible opportunity to grow their presence in the industry.
The acquisition supports AmeriFoam’s commitment to bring more value to its customers through a wide expansion of product offerings and manufacturing capabilities.
“This competitor buyout represents an incredible leap forward for our company,” said Lisa Bascom, owner and president of Brooklyn Products International Inc.
This move is also part of AmeriFoam’s strategy to offer the promise of continued business growth to its employees in a world of uncertainty.
“With the company’s growth, it should be able to hire more workers in 2021,” said Bascom.
AmeriFoam, now in its 35th year, provides in-house design and manufacturing of polyurethane foam products for sports, marketing and sales, corporate promotions, and entertainment. The company operates from a 70,000 square foot facility. Its operations are consolidated with its parent company Brooklyn Products International Inc. Manufacturing capabilities include thermal seal, saw and die cutting, adhesive and sew assembly, vacuum packing, and screen print.
