James Canning, vice president of marketing of Hixson, Tennessee-based Gold Bond Inc., announced the hiring of the company’s new director of marketing, Matt Hodges.

Hodges will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Hixson, Tenn. As the director of marketing, Hodges will be responsible for developing Gold Bond’s marketing strategy for both traditional and electronic mediums.
“Matt brings a fresh perspective to our team,” said Canning. “He offers a great mix of experience and knowledge from an innovative e-marketing consulting firm and his formal education in marketing from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.”
