Southern Plus introduced their new products for 2011 at The PPAI Expo earlier this month. Among the new items is the Kirsten Haglund Collection of bags. Kirsten Haglund was crowned Miss America in 2008. Her signature line of bags is offered exclusively through Southern Plus.
“Initial customer feedback for the collection has been very strong,” says Brannon Craig, national sales manager for Southern Plus. “We worked with Kirsten to develop some bags that were trend-right and suited her personal taste. Kirsten’s love for adventure and travel along with her passion for fashion was the true inspiration for this collection, and her zest for life and sense of style is reflected in the designs.”
Haglund got involved in the launch by greeting customers in the Southern Plus booth, presenting her collection, and discussing her foundation’s focus. She was in Las Vegas for the 2011 Miss America Pageant that went on all week, culminating with the televised pageant on Saturday night.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this exciting collection will go toward the Kirsten Haglund Foundation for eating disorders, which creates public awareness and provides funding to sufferers.
