Tustin, California-based Logomark today announced that its vice president of sales, Brian P. Padian, has been named the Specialty Advertising Association of California (SAAC) president. The association consists of more than 900 firms in California and throughout the United States devoted to promoting professionalism throughout the specialty advertising industry.
With more than 18 years working in the promotional products industry, Padian brings an extensive sales, management and operational background to the position of president. Padian has been responsible for managing inside sales at Logomark for the past six years while also serving repeatedly on the SAAC board in various roles. As SAAC president, Padian will be in charge of driving operational efficiencies throughout the organization. He previously served on the board from 2004 to 2007 and most recently held the vice president position.
“It is an honor to lead such an esteemed association and I’m fully committed to helping the organization meet the changes going on within our industry,” said Padian. “2011 is going to be a challenging year, yet I’m confident that together we will make it a successful one and represent our members better than ever.”
Along with facilitating connections and professional growth within the industry, Padian will work toward meeting following goals in 2011:
- Increase show attendance from both suppliers and distributors
- Increase overall membership
- Increase SAAC’s value proposition to its members to further strengthen the organization
