Club Colors, Hoffman Estates, Illinois, has signed an 11-year lease of 52,000 square feet of space in the Bell Works Chicagoland building in Hoffman Estates. The branding and marketing agency’s deal also includes an option to expand on an additional 50,000 square feet of adjacent office and production space.
The company will move its operations from Schaumburg into the Bell Works building. The larger space will allow Club Colors to focus on its strategic plan by rapidly growing its sales, administration and internal brand operations teams together under one roof while enhancing the employee experience.
Bell Works is a unique Class-A redevelopment of the 1.6 million square foot building that was the former AT&T training facility. The metroburb, as Bell Works president Ralph Zucker dubs it, will provide amenities on par with downtown office complexes while retaining the scenic elements of the beautiful AT&T campus. In addition, amenities such as restaurants, fitness centers, daycare, retail shopping and a diverse corporate clientele share the space, creating a year-round walkable downtown feel.
“We’re continually looking to add top-tier talent and competing with other locations and work-from-home-only environments,” said Cris Tase, co-CEO of Club Colors. “We believe in the value we create for our clients when we enter our creative spaces and combine our collective efforts. If we are going to ask our teammates to join us in the office, then we owe it to them to provide a great space to come to.”
“We see ourselves as a platform business more than a promo company,” added Jeff Baumet, Club Colors co-CEO. “We’re creating a unique client experience by bringing together product advisement, brand management, technology solutions, internal production and logistics as our suite of services. As a result, we are growing rapidly and needed to find a space that accommodates and facilitates that growth.”
Club Colors plans to add 40 new team members to the existing team of 85 over the next 12 months as it completes the move.
