Wristbands America announced this morning that it will be closed for the foreseeable future as a result of the train derailment in Palestine, Ohio.
Residents in East Palestine were ordered to evacuate on Monday after authorities executed a controlled release of toxic vinyl chloride from part of the detailed train.

Norfolk Southern hopes that after “small, shaped charges” blow holes in each rail car, the chemicals would spill into a trench, where it would be ignited to burn away, rather than cause an explosion, according to CNN.
While the fire has been reduced, the town’s mayor said that it’s still an ongoing event, and that they need to wait until the fires die down.
Wristband America’s facilities are less than 1 mile from the train cars, putting it within the mandatory evacuation zone.
