Tenured promo products industry veteran Dave Saracino returns to his writing instrument roots as chief revenue officer for All American Writing Instruments (AAWI), Linden, NJ.
In his new role, Saracino will focus on growing the distribution of AAWI’s promotional products portfolio across North America. He will report directly to Adam Bell, CEO.
AAWi is the manufacturer of the Garland brand executive pens and Pen Company of America (PCA) value plastic pens. Both brands have been manufactured in the USA since the 1920s, and continue to be made in the USA to this day.
Saracino’s career in the industry includes more than 35 years with Koozie Group (formerly BIC Graphic North America) as its vice president of sales and senior vice president of business development. Most recently, Saracino served as vice president of sales for the boutique supplier Charles River Apparel.
Saracino has many achievements to his name, but first and foremost, he was impressively recognized by ASI with the Counselor Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. He is incredibly passionate about the promotional products industry and the relationships he’s developed throughout his impressive career.
“I am extremely excited to be part of a third- and fourth-generation family business producing USA-made writing instruments,” Saracino said. “Pens have been my passion since I started my career, and I’m confident that in this position I will be able to expand the depth and distribution of AAWI in the promotional products industry.”
“With the addition of Dave to our team, my family’s history in the writing instrument industry has come full circle,” said Colleen Shea, vice president of sales for AAWI. “My grandfather’s company, Rotary Pen, molded millions of pen components for some o the largest pen manufacturers in the U.S. during the 1960s and 1970s.
“It is incredibly exciting and humbling to have someone of Dave’s stature believe in the power of U.S. manufacturing and family-owned business,” she continued. “We cannot wait to see what the future holds with Dave as part of the AAWI team.”
Saracino resides in the Tampa Bay Area with his wife of 33 years, Lynda. He is extremely family-oriented, and enjoys spending his free time with Lynda; their daughter, Christine; and her husband, Adam; and their beloved grandson, River. On weekends, you can usually find him at the theme parks, golfing, and watching football.
Saracino also serves on the board of the John Daly – Major Ed Foundation, and is an active advocate within the autism community in support of River.
“We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dave Saracino as the newest addition to our leadership team,” says CEO Adam Bell. “With an impressive track record of driving sales success through long-term relationships, and a proven ability to inspire teams, Dave brings a wealth of experience and expertise to AAWI. As we continue to expand and evolve, we are confident that Dave will play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth, forging strategic partnerships, and driving our sales initiatives to new heights. We warmly welcome Dave to the AAWI family, and look forward to achieving unprecedented milestones together.”
