Bodek and Rhodes Breaks Ground on Massive New Warehouse Addition

Bodek and Rhodes, a leading imprintable apparel distributor, has started construction this month on a new, 100,000 sq. ft., 40 ft. high warehouse addition in Philadelphia. This massive expansion to its existing storage facility will allow the company to store, offer and ship more stock directly from its home base than ever before.

“After almost 75 years in business, Bodek and Rhodes has encountered a great problem … we’re running out of space,” said Bodek President Mike Rhodes at a company-wide meeting. “I am so proud of what we have accomplished, and I wish that my father were here to see how the company has grown.”

“We have planned out the entire construction process to ensure that there will be no delays in service or delivery to our customers,” said Rich Weisbrod, VP of operations. “The entire goal of this project is to offer deeper inventory, faster shipping for a wider variety of styles that we carry. We will not allow this construction to affect our current service … not even for a day. It will be business as usual, and that’s great news for our customers who depend on the efficiency that we’re known for.”

The building is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2013. Bodek and Rhodes is headquartered in Philadelphia, with distribution centers in Philadelphia; Niles, Mich.; Fresno, Calif.; Orlando, Fla.; and Norton, Mass.
