Polyconcept North America Pledges $120,000 To PPEF Tomorrow Fund

Promotional Products Education Foundation, founded to recognize and encourage scholastic ability and academic performance among promotional products industry employees and their children, announced Polyconcept North America is continuing its leadership and commitment to the professional development and success of the promotional products industry through higher education with a Platinum level pledge of $120,000 to the PPEF Tomorrow Fund. The Tomorrow Fund was created more than 12 years ago as a means to ensure ongoing funding and support of PPEF scholarship programs promoting education and achievement within the promotional products industry.

Leed’s and Bullet, two of the companies in the Polyconcept family, have been PPEF Bronze Level ($12,000) and Silver Level ($30,000) donors, respectively, completing their pledges in 2012.

Last year, 65 new and 29 renewal scholars were awarded $100,000 in scholarships. Scholarships were awarded to a total of 94 outstanding promotional products industry employees or their children who displayed remarkable academic achievement, extracurricular participation and community service.

“We are thrilled to continue our commitment to support the PPEF Tomorrow Fund. Each of the companies of Polyconcept North America recognizes the importance of investing in education and the generous scholarships offered by the PPEF are investments that we are proud to help fund,” said David Nicholson, president of Leed’s and Polyconcept North America.

“Polyconcept’s visionary pledge extends funding to a new generation of students and professionals dedicated to a common goal of advancing the industry,” said Wayne Greenberg, MAS, former PPEF chair. “PPEF’s unique approach to helping promotional products industry students of all ages is something we are very proud of.”

Funded by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) and donations from the promotional products industry, the scholarship program enables youth and professionals to continue their education on a collegiate level. The Association and industry patrons have a long-standing commitment of service to the promotional products industry and this fund supports those who demonstrate the same commitment.
