The Specialty Advertising Association of California (SAAC) honored its board of directors during the February installation dinner held at the Ca Del Sole restaurant in Toluca Lake, California. More than 80 SAAC members celebrated the 2008 board, led by outgoing president, Missy Kilpatrick, executive vice president of Portland, Oregon-based Castelli USA. Members warmly welcomed the 2009 Board of Directors, with Rick Greene, regional vice president, western region for Sterling, Illinois-based HALO/Lee Wayne Corporation, taking the title as president.

Crystal D Gives Back Through Employee Giving Program
St. Paul, Minnesota-based Crystal D, a supplier of corporate awards, announced it donated more than $2,000 to Keystone Community Services with money raised through the company’s employee donation program.
The employee donation program, initiated two years ago, allows employees to automatically deduct one dollar or more from their payroll checks each week. The donations go toward a food shelf supported by Keystone Community Services, a local community-based human service organization.
“The employee donation program is the perfect example of how a small donation can go a long way,” said Cathy Klein, community outreach coordinator for Crystal D. “This donation allows Crystal D to help our local community when they need it most.”
