Kevin Poirier, founding shareholder of Beacon Promotions Inc., passed away suddenly on December 9, 2013. He was 53.
“Kevin came to the industry in the mid ’90s as CFO for Advertising Unlimited and held senior operations positions at AUI and then at Norwood after the acquisition,” said Gary Haley, president of Beacon Promotions. “Kevin was a people person who loved helping individuals grow in their professional roles. He also had a great and sometimes offbeat sense of humor delivered with his signature arching eyebrow.”
Poirier was a key member of the team of industry veterans who founded Beacon Promotions in 2003. He was diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia in 2008. He is survived by wife Angie and three children.
