Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) has announced the PPAI Code of Conduct is now available in Spanish, French Canadian and Chinese language translations. The PPAI Code of Conduct is the tangible presentation of what the promotional products industry is doing to meet the expectations of the end-buyer for product safety, social and environmental assurances. It is a statement of principles.
PPAI recognized the growing need to provide language translation support for its members’ production partners based in Latin America, Canada and Asia. PPAI has launched Spanish, French Canadian and Chinese versions of its Code of Conduct as the initial step in providing this support.
“It is important that our members and their production partners throughout Latin America, Canada and Asia know we have a commitment to providing resources and tools to support them and their business,” said Anne Lardner Stone, PPAI director of public affairs.
By providing language translations of the Code of Conduct, PPAI can ensure that Spanish-, French Canadian- and Chinese-speakers can make the most educated decisions when it comes to promotional products industry standards and best practices. With the translation of the PPAI Code of Conduct, comes the unique opportunity for international members to gain insights and a thorough understanding of how to navigate, what can be a complicated topic. PPAI worked with the Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC) and the Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales de la Promoción, A.C. (AMPPRO) to develop the French and Spanish translations.
