Promo Marketing Power Meetings – Nashville a Resounding Success

Promo Marketing, the leading source of product and marketing information for distributor sales professional, concluded its first-ever Power Meeting with tremendous results.

Promo Marketing Power Meetings are a one-of-a-kind industry event bringing the best in the business together. The first Power Meeting, held in Nashville’s four-star Hutton Hotel from March 19-22, paired some of the industry’s top-selling distributors with 45 of the biggest promotional products suppliers for one-on-one sessions focused on making connections, making plans and making sales.

“From our print magazine to our free online search engine, it’s always been Promo Marketing’s mission to connect promotional product suppliers and distributors, and Power Meetings are the natural next step in achieving that goal” said Dave Leskusky, group president of Promo Marketing. “The reaction from participants has been overwhelmingly positive. We couldn’t be happier with the results.”

From Monday through Thursday, over 120 industry professionals participated in 20 minute, pre-scheduled meetings held in luxury supplier suites. Suppliers and distributors also had the chance to mingle at the networking reception Monday night, dinner in the Hutton Hotel’s grand ballroom on Tuesday, and a special dining event at Sambuca Restaurant on Wednesday.

According to Matt Traverse, account manager for supplier Norwood & BIC Graphic North America, Clearwater, Fla., “The Promo Marketing Power Meetings Event in Nashville has been a class act.”

“It was awesome!” said Margie Price, owner/president of St. Louis-based distributor Premiums Plus Inc. “It was wonderful to meet some new suppliers and spend time with some I have known for a long time. I walked out of every single presentation meeting feeling great because I learned something new. It was truly time well spent.”

Brian Rivolta, senior vice president of Incentive Concepts, agreed. “Incentive Concepts exhibits at upwards of 30 trade shows and conferences a year with varying results, I think it is safe to say that the Promo Marketing Power Meeting was the first one that has ever exceeded my expectations,” he said.

Rivolta continued, “Everything about the event was exceptional. Promo Marketing gave us a platform to meet one on one with more than 40 customers and discuss how we could partner with each of them. Believe it or not, I have action items for every customer and potential customer that I met with,” he said. “From a supplier’s standpoint, I could not have asked for a better event and I hope to be included in future Power Meetings.”
