Hub Pen Company, a Braintree, Massachusetts-based pen supplier, has hired Marie MacIsaac as human resources manager. In this role, MacIsaac manages, schedules, assigns and directs work; conducts interviews, hires and orients new staff; supervises and conducts training; coaches; evaluates and gives appraisals; and ensures good quality of work. Additionally, she manages all other human resource-related tasks such as advice and support for staff, benefits and payroll.
Most recently, MacIssac was a human resources generalist with Energy USA, a commercial, industrial and retail distributor of propane and power fuels. Previously, she worked in a number of human resources positions for Enterprise Rent-a-Car, W.B. Mason and Casual Male Retail Group.
MacIssac received a B.S. in Business and Administration from Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 2002 and a Certification in Human Resources from Northeastern University in 2008. She is a member of Society of Human Resource Management Association and the Becker College Alumni Association. For the last six years, she has been involved with the Pan Mass Challenge and the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
