The PPAI Expo, the promotional products industry’s largest trade show, began today in Las Vegas. Held in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, the show offers five days of education, networking and products.
Suppliers have been on-site since Friday to set-up their booths and prepare for the show. Education sessions began at 8 a.m. this morning for industry members working toward their MAS and CAS certifications, and will continue through Wednesday. Tomorrow’s education sessions feature a keynote luncheon from Libby Gill in the South Seas Ballroom, entitled “Capture the Mindshare and the Market Share Will Follow.” Also Tuesday is the general session from John Foley, the lead solo pilot for the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels, entitled “The High Performance Club.” This sessions is being held in the South Seas Ballroom from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
New this year, The Art in the Industry exhibition will open to distributors at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning. Featuring pieces from The Messenger Art Collection, the exhibit includes artworks that have appeared on calendars and other promotional products, including pictures from Marilyn Monroe’s “Golden Dreams” photo shoot, made famous in the pages of Playboy.
