Oswego Cares and Oswego Industries, Oswego, N.Y., held a clothing drive benefiting children in need in Oswego County.
According to Oswego County Today, Glenn Zansitis, owner of Zink Screen Printing & Design, created Oswego Cares in 2015.
“It’s part of my overall mission to reach out to people in our community,” Zansitis told Oswego County Today. “I believe it is my obligation as a person and business owner.”
Zansitis and Michelle Hourigan of Oswego Industries worked together to receive and sort the clothing, and they were able to distribute the clothing to more than 76 children and families.
Other contributing organizations included SUNY Oswego Chapter of Enactus, Premier Living Suites, Pathfinder Bank, Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Oswego Reformed Presbyterian Church, The Lighthouse Coworks, Mimi’s Home Cleaning, Canale’s Restaurant, Fajita Grill and Mark’s Pizzeria.
