With activewear being one of the most trending industries, celebrities are capitalizing on the possibilities with their own athleisure brands. Kate Hudson co-founded Fabletics, Rihanna released branded Puma sneakers, and Carrie Underwood unveiled her line of athleisure clothing in collaboration with Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The latest mogul to enter into the game is superstar Beyoncé. The 200-piece collection, Ivy Park, will feature sports bras, reflective print jackets, bodysuits and more, according to Vogue.
The leggings are set to come in three tiers of shapes, “I” (low rise), “V” (mid-rise), and “Y” (high rise). All shapes will featuring inner-contouring shorts. Pieces will range from $30 to $200 in price, and are expected to be released in mid-April at Nordstrom, Topshop and Net-a-Porter.
The singer announced the athleisure line on her Instagram account with photos featuring the apparel. She also released a video working out in the clothes.
“When I’m working and rehearsing, I live in my workout clothes, but I didn’t feel there was an athletic brand that spoke to me,” Beyoncé said in a press release. “My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance. True beauty is in the health of our minds, hearts and bodies. I know that when I feel physically strong, I am mentally strong, and I wanted to create a brand that made other women feel the same way.”
