Beacon Promotions, based in New Ulm, Minn., announced Sharon Schiffelhuber joined the company this April as its vice president of sales in the Eastern regions. Schiffelhuber, a former sales manager with Ready Reference, will be covering 18 eastern states for Beacon Promotions. Beacon Promotions acquired the Ready Reference line of planners along with The Old Farmer’s Almanac products from Sidney, New York-based MeadWestvaco in April 2009.
“Sharon has 25 years of selling experience in the promotional products industry with an emphasis on selling the Ready Reference line of products. Distributor salespeople will find Sharon to be incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in the planner sales area,” stated Gary Haley, senior vice president and partner for Beacon Promotions.
Schiffelhuber’s responsibilities are to develop distributor business for all of the Beacon Promotion lines including: Beacon Brand Builders, Beacon Corporate Gift and Beacon Calendar Line.
