The Legacy Group, West River, Md., announced the appointment of Jolie Porter as managing director. She succeeds Jessica King, who served as managing director of the group since 2011.
“We are excited to welcome Jolie to the Legacy Group,” said John Leahy, partner for the Legacy Group and president of Target Marketing Group. “Her reputation within the industry is second to none, and she brings a wealth of experience in the industry. We are really looking forward to her leadership.”
Porter has been in the industry as the executive director of the Chesapeake Promotional Products Association (CPPA) for 14 years. As executive director of CPPA, she was instrumental in growing the association’s membership and programming, as well as collaborating with industry stakeholders to increase CPPA’s relevance and value to its members. She resides near Annapolis, Md., with her husband and two children.
