S&S Activewear, Bolingbrook, Ill., announced that its warehouse in Olathe, Kan., is now open. The new, 473,000 sq. ft. facility began receiving goods in the spring, and started shipping to customers in May.
The customer pick-up window opened June 15, making the company’s fourth location fully operational and increasing its combined warehouse size to 1.5 million sq. ft. of inventory.
“The whole area has been very welcoming to us, and it’s been a pleasure to do business here,” said Mike Mannucci, national director of operations for S&S Activewear. “We’re already shipping above what we originally projected on a daily basis. With this additional central location, we’re poised to continue increasing our company’s shipping volume and grow to the next level. It’s an exciting time to be here.”
Olathe inventory numbers appear along with the other location inventories on each product page of the company’s website. Customers can order from any of the four distribution centers based upon their individual order needs.
