On Monday, January 14 and Tuesday, January 15 at the Las Vegas Expo 2008, the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) will bring together some of the nation’s foremost sales and marketing experts to help owners take their business to the next level.
Ten different paid workshops will be offered this year. Each of these workshops is designed to allow time for an in-depth analysis of the subject matter. Topics will include guerrilla marketing, financial planning, effective referral generation, and niche marketing solutions and strategies for Web site success. In addition, luncheon sessions will allow distributors to take part in the following:
Developing a Comic Vision, Tim Gard
The Seven Deadly Sins of Strategic Implementation, Stan Slap
Jump Start Your Marketing Brain, Doug Hall
All told, the PPAI professional development team will offer more than 100 sessions covering a broad range of topics in the areas of business management, marketing and advertising, sales and service, technology, professional development, and strategic business issues.
“We’ve expanded our education offerings in response to attendee evaluations. This is a highly competitive market, and our members don’t always have the time to focus on their professional development the way they’d like,” said Rick Merrill, PPAI director of professional development. “These in-depth workshops provide an ideal venue for the peer-to-peer interaction that is essential to adult learning and that our members value. It is our hope that our members will leave The PPAI Expo 2008 having been challenged, pushed beyond their comfort zones and equipped with a renewed sense of confidence.”
Consistently ranked among the most informative professional development events, the Promotional Professionals Mentoring Network (PPMN) will once again host a Peer2Peer Round table luncheon on Wednesday, January 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This session combines mentoring and networking, while offering 10 different discussion topics.
