Pro Towels, Pittsburgh, has acquired Oceanside, California-based supplier Neet Feet Inc., which has supplied promotional flip-flops and sandals since 1987, and introduced die-cut “Logo Footprint” flip-flops in 1989.
“No other supplier offers better quality custom logo footwear, flip-flops and sandals than Neet Feet, and I believe the fit of the Neet Feet product line with that of Pro Towels and Kanata Blanket Company will make for a very positive experience for our valued customers,” Kevin Nord, president of Pro Towels, said in a press release. “We are all very excited about what the future holds. We will be combining our operational capabilities, and, with the enhanced diversity of our product line plus our geographic footprint, we will be able to provide excellence in every way to our distributor partners.”
Neet Feet Inc. will retain its brand and industry identifiers, but will combine its product lines with Pro Towels. This news comes after an eventful summer for Pro Towels, which added Chuck Lang as chief financial officer in April and hired Paul Schmitt as controller in June.
“After nearly 30 years building the Neet Feet brand, I was looking to focus on other interests, but wanted to ensure there was a proper fit for Neet Feet with whomever acquired us,” John Amsterdam, president of Neet Feet Inc., said in the press release. “I wanted to ensure that there was a future going forward. I’m stoked that Neet Feet is joining the Pro Towels family to take our quality footwear to the next level and into the future. The Pro Towels family shares the same culture and philosophy of building a solid team and first-class customer service that was always important to me. And I am happy that the Neet Feet product line will be offered to a vastly expanded customer base throughout North America.”
Brian Porter, vice president of sales for Pro Towels, also voiced his excitement about the wide reach of the combined product line and promotional opportunities.
“Bringing Neet Feet into the fold of the Pro Towels family is the perfect fit,” Porter said in the press release. “We feel the synergies are there to not only sell product, but we can present our wide product selection in our distinctive packaging options for a complete branding solution.”
