Clay Hall has joined Neenah, Wisconsin-based AIA Corporation’s field sales management team as director of field sales development, where he will be leading the organization’s efforts to grow sales with its largest platinum-level owners in the West. Hall is replacing Greg Armstrong, who was promoted to vice president of marketing and supplier relations in October.
Hall comes to AIA Corporation with more than 25 years of both print and promotional product experience. For the past three years, he has been in a sales leadership position with Staples Promotional Products, Overland Park, Kan., serving as regional sales director, leading and growing distributor sales in the West.
“We knew it would be critical to bring someone in to fill Greg’s shoes who had the same level of business acumen, sales expertise, passion for growth and collaborative style,” said Jim Roccia, vice president of sales and business development at AIA Corporation. “We believe Clay has the right combination of vision, experience, skills and drive to take AIA to ever higher levels of growth and success.”
“The high level of energy, and strong, proud culture of AIA helps differentiate the organization in a crowded marketplace,” Hall added. “Expectations are to build on this by leveraging a very talented group of AIA associates and experienced owners to achieve rapid growth. It will be a challenging role, and I am absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity.”
Hall and his family reside in Reno, Nev. He and his wife, Kiersten, will be celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary in December. They have two daughters, Cierra and Tatum; and son, Grayson. Outside of work, Hall enjoys long-distance running, having completed the three legs for his team in the 178-mile Reno-Tahoe Odyssey in May 2014.
