AIA Corporation, Appleton, Wis., announced that industry professional Christopher Alfano has joined the company as senior vice president of business technology. In this role, Alfano will lead technology strategy and implementation, ensuring AIA and owner growth goals are consistently supported and achieved through technology.
In addition, Alfano will be responsible for enterprise security and vendor management, and serve as a technology resource to AIA and its owners. As a member of AIA’s senior executive team, Alfano will report to CEO Nancy Schmidt.

Alfano has more than 15 years of IT leadership and business management experience, successfully delivering technical solutions that reduce costs and inefficiencies, while increasing performance and infrastructure security.
Most recently, he led the technology strategy and transformation and Vantage Apparel.
