American Apparel, Los Angeles, has announced the release of its new principal style—the Fine Jersey Classic Women’s T-Shirt (23215).
With a true-fit design that provides full coverage, the new style fills a demand in the current marketplace for a high-quality T-shirt that flatters a feminine silhouette. The garment features short sleeves and a crew neck.
It joins a collection of fine jersey T-shirts that rank as some of the company’s longtime bestsellers. Comprised of 100 percent cotton, fine jersey is a tight-knit and smooth fabric that offers many decorating possibilities. The collection includes the Fine Jersey Short Sleeve T-Shirt (2001), the Fine Jersey Short Sleeve Women’s T (2102), the Youth Fine Jersey Short Sleeve T-Shirt (2201) and the Kids’ Fine Jersey Short Sleeve T (2105).
“American Apparel provides designs that many view as classics,” said Brad Gebhard, president of wholesale for American Apparel. “This new addition offers the iconic American Apparel look to an expanded customer base, and we’re really excited about that.”
The Fine Jersey Classic Women’s T-Shirt is set to be released on Dec. 1, and will be exclusive to the company’s wholesale division. It will be available in S to 2XL in white, asphalt, heather grey, navy, royal blue, red and pink.
