American Apparel, the Los Angeles-based apparel supplier and retailer, recently signed a new lease on a 220,000 square foot warehouse. The company’s lease for the building, located in La Miranda, Calif., is for five years.
American Apparel has not yet stated what the new warehouse, which includes 19,000 square feet of office space, will be used for. The company has announced improved sales in store, online and in the wholeseale market, several times over the past year, and in August adjusted its EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) guidance for 2012 to between $36 to $44 million, from the prior estimate of $32 to $40 million.
