We can say with confidence that 2017 was the year of fast food merchandise. From Taco Bell to KFC, fast food chains churned out their best combo meals with a side of must-have apparel, and we loved every minute of it. Thankfully, the good times are here to stay thanks to Arby’s new branded merchandise.
We’ve all become familiar with Arby’s latest tagline: “We have the meats,” and it looks like the chain is taking that concept to the next level. The company unveiled its new Meat Sweats, which include elastic sweat pants and a zip-up hoodie with images of stacked meats. According to Fox News, the ensemble features “built-in bacon-patterned warming pockets” and “retractable bacon-patterned venting hood for maximum temperature control.”
However, these sweats aren’t available to every Arby’s patron. Instead, the rewards go to those that use their social media channels to brag about their meat feats in 2017, such as “conquering the brand’s famous Meat Mountain or smoking a slab of ribs to perfection.”
The merchandise will begin dropping this week, and we have a feeling these are already a hit. For those of you working in promotional apparel, perhaps this promotion can serve as a source of inspiration. You don’t need an award-winning design, you just need to create something on-brand.
