Ariel Premium Supply, St. Louis, has recently developed the technology to print QR (Quick Response) codes on several stress relievers within the company’s product line.
QR codes are fast becoming a standard in corporate marketing strategies. QR codes allow smartphone users to photograph a code through a QR reader program and be redirected to a website, video or text message. Ariel Premium Supply is pleased to announce that this same marketing strategy can now be printed on several stress relievers within Ariel Premium Supply’s product line.
“We did a significant amount of test printing with these codes to see what colors and stress reliever shapes could be scanned by smartphones,” said Sandra Coburn, marketing supervisor at Ariel Premium Supply. “We found that white stress relievers with a one-inch black imprint were all scannable using QR readers. This is exciting for distributors because unlike most QR codes, Ariel’s are on three-dimensional objects, making them a unique attention-grabbing product. Ariel is excited to be able to offer this new, value-added service to distributors.”
Ariel Premium Supply premiered the QR Cube Stress Reliever as a new service to distributors at the 2011 PPAI Las Vegas Expo. The QR cube was viewed by distributors as a great new use for the stress reliever. Ariel Premium Supply’s QR Cube can be found today at www.arielpremium.com. Additional products will be joining the QR lineup as Ariel Premium Supply continues to conduct print testing.
