Best Selling Authors Mark Shonka and Kimberly Coots to Speak at Proforma Convention

Proforma, a leader in the print and promotional products industries, has announced that Mark Shonka, author of “Beyond Selling Value: A Proven Process to Avoid the Vendor Trap,” and Kimberly Coots, author of “Divine Worth,” will be speaking at the 2012 Proforma Convention and Family Reunion in Orlando, Florida, July 29 to August 1, 2012. The convention will be held at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.

“We’re excited to have these two best-selling authors share their selling expertise at our 25th annual convention,” said Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma. “These top experts have a wealth of knowledge to share with our owners about breaking down barriers, identifying better sales opportunities and pushing past comfortable to reach new levels of success. This is what convention is all about—helping owners unlock the keys to their true potential.”

Shonka is the co-president of IMPAX Corporation, a leading sales performance improvement company, and has more than 20 years of experience as a highly successful sales professional. His high-energy presentation will provide ideas, insight and inspiration that will transform sales obstacles into opportunities, and set the stage for proposing large opportunities to the right decision levels. This session will feature the same expertise that IMPAX has shared with Coke, Dell, American Express and IBM.

Coots is a best-selling author, entrepreneur and print expert. Her presentation will help attendees become aware of and transform what’s keeping them stuck from reaching their next level of success. She will explore common blocks that sabotage success, as well as exercises to help attendees break through those blocks to unleash their true potential.

Shonka and Coots will each give keynote presentations during the event, with Shonka also hosting a hands-on workshop to give Proforma owners an additional opportunity to learn key strategies for successfully targeting and selling to C-level decision makers.

The Proforma Convention and Family Reunion will bring together representatives from the 750 franchise offices throughout North America, an extensive vendor network of more than 400 preferred vendors, a group of recognized motivational and industry speakers, and worldwide support center staff. The convention provides more than 80 educational seminars and sessions, networking opportunities and presentations to give owners the resources they need to grow their businesses, strengthen relationships and achieve personal and professional goals.

“The theme of this year’s Convention is ‘Be Super Powerful,’ and these presentations will focus on helping Proforma owners tap into their own super powers and the powerful resources within the Proforma network,” said Muzzillo. “Convention gives us an opportunity to arm owners with tools to experience more sales, more profits and make all of their dreams come true.”
