Ball Pro Acquires Scramble Pic Patent

Edna Bingham, president of Scramble Ease, Garland, Texas, sold her Scramble Pic patent to Ball Pro Promotional Group, Eden Prairie, Minn. The Scramble Pic was designed for easy golf ball pickup during scramble golf, a multiplayer golf game typically played during charity tournaments.

“Bingham observed when in a golf cart, how the constant stopping, starting, reaching and straining of the golfers slowed down the game,” Tim Hanson, MAS, Ball Pro president, said. “In addition, it is a great advertising tool, offering 42 square inches of full-color advertising space, that attaches to the window of every golf cart, allowing logo exposure for all four hours of the event.”

Ball Pro has been including the product as a component of its webinars, sharing how to fundraise $37,000 with golf tournaments.

“As a licensee since 2012, Ball Pro has sold thousands of the Scramble Pics, and customers love them,” Hanson said.
