While the media tends to focus on Melania Trump’s fashion choices, it looks like President Trump’s youngest son is the trendsetter of the week. According to USA Today, Barron Trump wore a T-shirt on the South Lawn of the White House, and managed to send consumers flooding to purchase it.
The blue T-shirt, which read “The Expert” on the front, is sold out on retailer J. Crew’s website.
“We’re sorry. This item has been so popular, it has sold out,” read a message on the store’s website.
The T-shirt retailed for $29.50.
However, it looks like Barron’s T-shirt has managed to become a source of debate. Sarah Palin’s website claimed that it was Barron who contributed to the shirt’s sellout. However, Business Insider delved deeper into J. Crew’s catalog, and found that the T-shirt was from the Spring 2015 collection, and was already sold out.
One thing’s for sure: Barron certainly brought the shirt back into the spotlight.
